1. What is a Telecourse?

A telecourse is a series of live classes conducted over the telephone, with participants from around the world. (After you register, you will be given a phone bridge telephone number and Pin number to call in for each class. The number is not toll free.) You can participate in discussions and take advantage of course materials There is give-and-take participation and class materials just as in an in-person course.

2. What is an Audio Home Study Course?

An audio home study course is a high-quality recording of a live telecourse, you can listen to wherever and whenever you please. The course includes the instructor's handouts and a CE quiz if you are taking it for credit. You will receive the CD's for the course 2-3 weeks after you register for the course.

3. What is an Online Reading Course?

An online reading course consists of carefully chosen Networker articles by leading thinkers in the field that, read together, provide an in-depth examination of subject matter of the course. After you register for a course, you will receive links to each of the articles and the CE quiz.

4. Do you offer Continuing Education (CE) credits for Networker U courses?

Yes. CE credits are offered to many professional disciplines for participation in Networker U courses. The exact number of credits offered is based on contact hours and is indicated in each course description. For complete details, go to CE Approvals.

5. What computer and internet expertise must I have to take part in a Networker U course?

The requirements are basic. You must be able to send and receive e-mails and download course materials from this website. Be sure to save the e-mail we send you confirming your registration for a course. It has all the links to the course materials. Some of the materials are in PDF (Adobe Acrobat) format . Most computers have Adobe Acrobat Reader, but if yours doesn't, you will be given instructions on how to install it. It is free and easy to install. 6. What happens once I register for a Networker U course? How will I receive course materials?

You will receive a confirmation of your registration by email. BE SURE TO SAVE THIS EMAIL! It has complete instructions for taking the course, and all the links to course materials, the CE quiz, and other necessary information. Again, be sure to SAVE YOUR CONFIRMATION EMAIL. If you do not receive a confirmation e-mail, your server may have filtered it and put it in your Junk Mail folder. Please check there before contacting customer service.

7. How much homework is expected for a course?

There are no hand-in assignments in Networker U courses.

8. Can I take the CE Quiz as I move through the course?

Yes. After you've registered for an Audio Home Study Course or an Online Reading Course, you will receive a confirmation email with instructions about how to go to the CE Quiz. Before you begin the course, you can print out the quiz and mark the answers as you go through the course. When you have finished the course, go to the CE Quiz again, and enter your answers online. You will receive a CE Certificate by email when you pass the quiz.

9. Can I cancel my registration for a Telecourse and get a refund?

10. I am taking a Telecourse for CE credits. Is there a quiz at the end of the course?

Because it is a live class, attendance is required, but not a quiz.

11. Can therapists outside the United States participate in Networker U Telecourses?

There are many cost-effective ways to call the phone bridge telephone numbers in the United States that give you access to the telecourses. Just check with your long distance providers for the best rates or find out about discounts through calling cards.

12. What if I miss a class meeting of a telecourse? Will tapes be available?

If you are not able to join a class, you can listen to the recording of the class. Just go to the Registrant Log-in page of the telecourse. In addition, tapes of the telecourses will be available for sale at a discount to telecourse participants following the course.

13. I have a question about Networker U that is not included on this list. What should I do?
